Rotating Art Shows

Year-round

The Town of Duck Wall Décor Committee established a series of Rotating Art Shows to display the works of local artists and organizations. The artwork is on display at Duck Town Hall in the First Floor Conference Room. Each show is scheduled to run for three months at a time and is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The public is invited to an opening reception for each show.

Dare County Student Art Show, 33 works of art created by Dare County students. Displayed February through April 25, 2014. Students in the show represented First Flight High School, Manteo High School, First Flight Middle School, Manteo Middle School, Kitty Hawk Elementary School, First Flight Elementary School, Nags Head Elementary School, Manteo Elementary School, and Hatteras Elementary School. The pieces were selected by members of Duck’s Wall Décor Committee.

“Step Back in Time” by the Whalehead Club, a historical display featuring photographic depictions and brief stories of Whalehead’s appealing history. Displayed July 2013 through January 2014
