Rotating Art Shows


The Town of Duck Wall Décor Committee established a series of Rotating Art Shows to display the works of local artists and organizations. The artwork is on display at Duck Town Hall in the First Floor Conference Room. Each show is scheduled to run for three months at a time and is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The public is invited to an opening reception for each show.

Mixed Media and Ceramics by Fred Vallade– February 3-April 26, 2023. Opening Reception Saturday, February 4 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Watercolors by Tansy O’Bryant– May 4-July 26, 2023. Opening Reception Saturday, May 6 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Photography by Carol Twigg Anderson– August 3- October 26, 2023. Opening Reception Wednesday, August 9 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Students in the show represented First Flight High School, Manteo High School, First Flight Middle School, Manteo Middle School, Kitty Hawk Elementary School, First Flight Elementary School, Nags Head Elementary School, Manteo Elementary School, and Hatteras Elementary School. The pieces were selected by members of Duck’s Wall Décor Committee.
