INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

Breaking and Entering (107 Turnbuckle Court) 

Suspect(s) made forced entry through a bathroom window on the second floor.  One flat screen television was taken.  Forensic evidence was collected from the scene. Investigation is ongoing.

 

Breaking and Entering (123 East Sea Hawk Drive)

Suspect(s) made forced entry through a door on the third floor.  One flat screen television was taken.  Forensic evidence was collected from the scene. Investigation is ongoing.

 

Larceny (129 Acorn Oak Avenue)

A renter left a laptop computer in her rental home, but didn’t realize she had done so until she reached Raleigh. When staff from the realty company checked the home, the laptop was not found.  Investigation is ongoing.

 

Traffic Stop (Duck Road @ Settlers Lane)

Officer spotted a suspicious vehicle traveling through Town.  After establishing reasonable suspicion, he stopped the vehicle.  The front passenger ran from the scene.  Four flat screen televisions were located in the vehicle.  The driver admitted to stealing the televisions from homes in Corolla.  The Currituck County Sheriff’s Officer responded to the scene and placed the suspects under arrest for possession of stolen goods.
