INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

Breaking and Entering (118 Sunflower Court)

Two white males were caught on camera entering the upstairs area of the residence at 9:36 a.m. The homeowner was able to watch the events live through her Canary camera system located upstairs. The two males entered the property by prying the lock on a downstairs window. They were in the process of checking how to get the flat screen off the wall when one of the subjects observed the camera. They covered their faces using their arms, unplugged the camera and left the property. One window was damaged and at this time no property has been confirmed to be stolen.

Larceny of a License Plate (103 Skimmer Way)

An Ohio license plate was stolen from the front of the owner’s car at 103 Skimmer Way. A subcontractor that had been working at 103 Skimmer Way had a run in with Officer Knight the previous night for fictitious tags. Officer Knight removed the tag from the vehicle and had the owner park the car until he could get the tag issue resolved. The next day the subject returned to finish the job from the night before and removed the tag from the car in the driveway and placed it on his car. Officer Knight made contact with the subject and gave him the opportunity to make things right but the driver was uncooperative. Warrants have been issued for the stolen plates.
