TRAFFIC

  • Officers issued 10 traffic enforcement actions during the week. 

PROPERTY CHECKS

  • 132 business checks were made.No unsecure doors were found.
  • 6 extra patrols were requested by out-of-town property owners this week.      

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Suspicious Condition (Duck Road)

Caller reported the following day that someone was seen walking around under the home on his ring camera around 2:00 AM.  The property owner stated the video quality was poor, so he was unable to provide a description of the suspect.  The property manager checked the property and found the home secure with nothing missing. The owner requested extra patrols of his property during the early morning hours.

  • Suspicious Condition (Scarborough Lane)

Property owner called from out of state to report seeing two juvenile males under his residence attempting to take his golf cart. When officers arrived, the subjects were gone, and nothing was missing. The property owner requested extra patrols of the property.

TRAFFIC CRASHES

  • Duck Road/West Sea Hawk Drive

Two vehicle rear-end collision. An SUV was making a right turn from Duck Road when a truck pulling a trailer with heavy equipment struck the rear corner of the SUV. There were no injuries to either party.

  • Duck Road/Mallard Drive

Two vehicle rear-end collision. SUV collided with a tow truck. No injuries.
