TRAFFIC

  • Officers issued 18 traffic enforcement actions during the week. 

PROPERTY CHECKS

  • 125 business checks were made.

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Domestic Dispute (Duck Road)

On September 13, 2022, a third party reported a dispute in an adjoining condo.  Upon arrival, the officers heard yelling inside the condo.  The situation was deescalated, and officers determined the dispute was not physical.  A resolution was reached between the parties.   

  • Trespassing (Seahawk Drive)

On September 14, 2022, a homeowner called for assistance in trespassing a neighbor who was leaving unusual notes on the property.  Officers assisted.

  • Suspicious Condition (Seahawk Drive)

On September 16, 2022, a homeowner was alerted by a surveillance camera that an unauthorized person was on the property. Officers arrived and found the subject was a house cleaner that was sent to the wrong address. 

TRAFFIC CRASHES

  • Duck Road/Nor’ Banks Drive

On September 14, 2022, a northbound vehicle stopped to make a left turn into the Nor’ Banks sailing Center, when a vehicle two cars back did not realize the cars in front of it stopped. Driver 3 was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision, pushing the second vehicle into the front vehicle causing significant vehicular damage.  However, only minor injuries were reported.

  • Mallard Drive

On September 18, 2022, a vehicle backed into a parked vehicle in the driveway of the residence.
