TRAFFIC

  • Officers issued 11 traffic enforcement actions during the week. 

PROPERTY CHECKS

  • 145 business checks were made.No unsecure doors were found.
  • 1 extra patrol was requested by an out-of-town property owner this week.      

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Suspicious Condition (Bunting Lane)

On October 24, 2022, a neighbor called to report seeing a subject attempt to open a door at a neighboring home.  The caller further reported hearing what sounded like a lawn mower leave the area a short time later.  The responding officer contacted the homeowner and learned that a landscaper was working late at the home.  The officer notified the caller that the person seen was allowed to be on the property.

  • Suspicious Condition (Ocean Way)

On October 30, 2022, a concerned caller reported seeing a subject loading wood from a construction site into a truck.  The responding officers arrived and located the suspect vehicle pulling into a nearby residence.  The vehicle operator advised the officer he had permission to remove wood from the construction dumpster at the site; however, the suspect could not provide sufficient proof of that conversation.  The suspect returned the wood to the site.  Further investigation is ongoing.
