INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Found Gun (Teresa Court)

On February 20, 2023, officers were dispatched to this location after a cottage cleaner found a handgun while cleaning. The handgun was taken into police custody.  Officers have located the owner of the firearm and are working with him to arrange legal transfer.

  • Fraud (Choctaw Court)

On February 24, 2023, a resident of Duck called in reference to his father being targeted in a scam. The scammer told the father, who was in Pennsylvania, that his son had been involved in a vehicle wreck in Duck and had been arrested. The father recognized he was being scammed and terminated the call.
