TRAFFIC

  • Officers issued 7 traffic enforcement actions during the week. 

PROPERTY CHECKS

  • 149 business checks were made.
  • 1 extra patrol was requested by an out-of-town property owner this week.      
  • 58 residential property checks this week.

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Suspicious Condition (Duck Road)

Officers were dispatched to a report of juveniles shooting animals in the parking lot with a bb gun. Officers arrived and checked the area without locating the juveniles. Later in the week officers received the same report. One juvenile was located and turned over to his parents who own the property.

  • Dispute (Duck Road)

Officers responded to a dispute at Sunshine Family Pharmacy. Caller stated it was a physical and verbal dispute. Officers arrived on scene to find the suspect had left. Victim then advised it was only verbal and declined to press charges.

  • Trespassing (Christopher Drive)

The homeowner called to advise that she observed, via her security camera, two males drive onto her property. Officers arrived to find the two males were playing basketball in the driveway of the vacant property. The suspects were asked to leave the property and not return.

  TRAFFIC CRASHES

  • Duck Road/East Tuckahoe Drive

A pickup traveling on Duck Road struck a deer. Minor damage to the vehicle and the deer ran off.
