INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Larceny (Vireo Way)

On August 15, 2022, officers responded to this location after receiving a report from the Sanderling Homeowners Association that a “No Bicycles Allowed” sign was stolen from the walking path.

  • Larceny (Marlin Drive)

On August 17, 20022, officers took a report after two Yeti soft sided coolers and one large Igloo cooler were stolen from the pool area during the night.

  • Larceny (Ocean Way)

On August 17, 2022, officers took a report after a Yeti soft sided cooler and personal property were stolen from the back deck of an oceanfront residence.

  • Breaking and Entering & Larceny (Schooner Ridge Drive)

On August 18, 2022, officers responded to this residence (the day after the incident) after a resident reported seeing an unidentified male in a bedroom in the middle of the night.  The victim thought the incident was a dream or sleepwalking event but realized the incident had occurred when personal property was determined to be missing from the bedroom.

  • Animal Bite (Pintail Drive)

On August 21, 2022, officers took a report after a dog’s owner was bitten on the chin. 

TRAFFIC CRASHES

  • Duck Road/Duck Road

On August 18, 2022, a vehicle traveling southbound stopped for traffic and was struck from behind.  No injuries reported.

  • Duck Road/Four Seasons Lane

On August 19, 2022, a vehicle traveling northbound stopped for traffic and was struck from behind.  No injuries reported.
