INCIDENTS OF INTEREST
Assault (Jay Crest Dr)
A heated argument broke out in the unit between a mother and her son’s girlfriend. The argument became physical with both parties pushing each other and one being slapped in the head. All parties had been drinking and a child was present. Parties were separated for the night. Social Services were contacted concerning the living conditions.
Dog Bite (On the beach, north of Research Pier)
A female walker was struck in the leg and bit on the upper right arm around the elbow when a large Saint Bernard exited the water and ran up to her. Vet records were checked and the dog was found to be current on all vaccination. The victim received medical care as a precaution.
Dog Bite (Boardwalk)
A female with her toddler was bit on the upper right hip and buttocks as she ran by a dog on a leash being walked by the owner. The dogs shots were current and the victim was going to seek her own medical evaluation.
Traffic has increased along with noise complaints and foot traffic.
Duck Road/Parking Lot Wee Winks
A two-car collision with minor damage. Driver stated he turned into the parking lot area from Duck Road and proceeded to drive through the parking lot when a vehicle hit the passenger side of his vehicle.
