INCIDENTS OF INTERES
- Larceny (Widgeon Drive)
Officers responded to this location in reference to a larceny. The contractor reported that $700 worth of construction materials were taken between April 2nd and April 5th. Officers canvased the area, but no one reported seeing anything suspicious at the construction site.
- Breaking & Entering (Dune Road)
Officers responded to a report of vandalism. During the investigation, it was determined to be a Breaking and Entering. An unknown suspect cut the screen, near the locking mechanism of a door on the exterior screened porch. After entering, the suspect defecated on the porch. Fingerprints were found on a window appearing that someone attempted to enter the residence. The scene was processed, and the investigation is ongoing.
- Suspicious Condition (Sea Hawk Drive)
Homeowners terminated a contractor after they failed to complete the work they were hired to do. A second contractor was hired and found the doors unlocked at the house. The owner is concerned the fired contractor may be trying to stay at the house.
- Larceny (Snipe Court)
A contractor reported a generator stolen from the construction site. He did not want a report filed in the case, he just wanted to make law enforcement aware. He further stated they have had wood and windows taken from various job sites up and down the beach.
- No traffic crashes were reported this week.
