TRAFFIC
- Officers issued 9 traffic enforcement actions during the week.
PROPERTY CHECKS
- 117 business checks were made. 2 unsecured doors were found.
- 1 extra patrol was requested by an out-of-town property owner this week.
INCIDENTS OF INTEREST
- Dispute (Duck Rd)
On September 9, 2024, an officer on foot patrol was approached by an employee who advised he was involved in an argument with a patron wanting to use the restroom. The officer de-escalated and resolved the issue without incident. No enforcement action taken or needed.
- Assault prior (Duck Road)
On September 10, 2024, officers received a report of a prior assault involving a knife. After a brief investigation, it was determined a dispute occurred between two J-1 visitors from Jamaica. Before officers could obtain arrest warrants, both parties fled the country. This information has been passed on to the District Attorney’s office.
- Suspicious Vehicle, (Duck Road)
On September 13 and 14, 2024, officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking area overnight. The vehicle did not have any wants or warrants. Officers identified the vehicle’s owner but were unable to locate same. The owner returned and retrieved the vehicle.

On September 9, 2024, a bicycle struck a vehicle. A crash report was filed. No injuries were reported.
- Duck Road (Property Damage Only)
On September 15, 2024, an officer responded a minor crash between two vehicles. A crash report was filed. No injuries were reported.
