  • Officers issued 10 traffic enforcement actions during the period.


  • 174 business checks were made. 2 unsecured doors were found.
  • 3 extra patrols were requested by out-of-town property owners this period.     
  • 74 seasonal property checks were conducted during this period.


  • Suspicious Condition (East Bias Lane)

On January 29, 2024, officers were dispatched to the above location in reference to a person walking around the property.  Officers arrived at the home and located the suspect, who was looking for a water hose to borrow for a project at a neighboring home.

  • Suspicious Vehicle (Duck Road)

On February 1, 2024, an officer on patrol came upon an unoccupied golf cart parked in the middle of the road. The officer was able to locate the owner of the golf cart, who explained the golf cart’s battery had died.  Officers assisted the owner in getting his golf cart back to the residence.

  • Fraud (Ruddy Duck Lane)

On February 3, 2024, a report was filed after the victim’s driver’s license number and social security number were compromised through an email phishing scam. The victim had already filed the appropriate report with a Federal agency. Officers suggested that the victim also contact their bank to alert them to any potentially fraudulent activity in the future.

  • Suspicious Condition (Wood Duck Drive)

On February 7, 2024, officers were dispatched to the above location in reference to people walking around the residence.  Officers arrived and made contact with the males on scene who were working on the roof.

  • Larceny (Duck Road)

On February 9, 2024, officers were dispatched to the Han-Dee Hugo after a Mike’s Hard Lemonade was stolen from the store.  Officers were able to locate the suspect, and per an agreement with the manager, the suspect was allowed to pay for the stolen alcoholic beverage in lieu of criminal charges. At the request of the manager, the suspect was trespassed from the business.

  • Larceny Prior (Duck Road)

On February 11, 2024, officers were dispatched to the above location in reference to a suspect stealing lumber.  This incident is currently under investigation.


  • No traffic crashes were reported during this period.
