  • No extra patrols were requested by out-of-town property owners this week.
INCIDENTS OF INTEREST
·       Suspicious Vehicle (Royal Tern Drive)

On August 14, 2003, officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway. The investigating officers found that the occupants of the vehicle had stopped to rest after a long drive. The residence was not tampered with.

·       Talk with Officer (Duck Road)

On August 14, 2023, a complainant called to request that a report be filed for damage done to a vehicle; however, the complainant was unable to provide a date or location where the damage occurred. No report was filed.

·       Shoplifting (Duck Road)

On August 14, 2023, officers responded after two juveniles were caught shoplifting. The parents of the juveniles came to the scene, and management agreed to let the parents handle the juveniles in lieu of filing criminal charges.

·       Dispute (W Charles Jenkins Drive)

On August 16, 2023, officers responded to a dispute at this location. It was determined that family members had engaged in a verbal dispute. One party left the residence prior to the officers’ arrival. Officers determined that no crime had occurred.

·       Larceny (Duck Road)

On August 17, 2023, officers responded to the report of a larceny. The business reported two juveniles stole alcohol and left the area on bicycles. The suspects were not located.

·       Larceny (Magnolia Court)

On August 18, 2023, officers filed a report for the larceny of a bicycle.

·       Intoxicated Subject (Pintail Drive)

On August 18, 2023, officers responded to the report of a suspicious subject that was seen on the caller’s porch. Upon arrival, officers found the subject to be intoxicated and at the wrong residence. Officers made sure the subject made it home safely.

On August 15, 2023, a vehicle backing from a parking spot backed into another parked vehicle.
