The Town Council of the Town of Duck will conduct a Public Hearing on February 6, 2013 to receive comments on the following request:
Application by Richard Bell of Across the Board Construction on behalf of Laura A. Holleman, property owner at 132 S. Snow Geese Drive, also known as Lot 17, Snow Geese Subdivision, in Duck, North Carolina. Pursuant to the Town of Duck Code of Ordinances, Section 156.062 and 156.145, the special exception is to allow the relocation of an oceanfront structure threatened by erosion. The relocated structure is proposed to be located 15’ from the front property line where a 25’ minimum building line is required pursuant to Section 156.030 (D)(7). Relief from the minimum parking standard is proposed to include two parking spaces in the side yard setback where minimum setback of 5’ is required pursuant to Section 156.092 (D).
Any party may appear in person to present comments on this proposed special exception permit or may submit written comments to the Town of Duck Council at P.O. A staff report will be available approximately five days in advance of the hearing at the Town Administrative offices or via the Town’s website www.townofduck.com.
