The Duck Town Council is seeking interested individuals to serve on the Duck Town Council to fill the unexpired term of former Council Member Tony Schiano.
The Town Council meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. and on the third Wednesday as needed at 1:00 pm. This term is for the months of October and November with the appointment ending at Council’s December 6, 2023 meeting.
Interested individuals are asked to submit an application to the Town Clerk by Friday, September 15, 2023 at 4:00 pm. Applications can be obtained at the Administrative Offices at 1200 Duck Road, calling Town Clerk Lori Ackerman at (252) 254-5956, or by clicking here. The Town Council is expected to make the appointment at its Mid-Month meeting on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 1:00 pm and individuals should be prepared to attend this meeting.
