The Sand Dollar Shores HOA has announced, through its attorney, that it has appealed the February 14 summary judgement ruling by Camden County Superior Court Judge Lamont Wiggins. Per this ruling, the 8’ Pedestrian Beach Access Easement located at the end of Seabreeze Drive was declared dedicated to the general public for the purpose of providing pedestrian access to the Atlantic Ocean beach. The Town website now reflects this status and will be updated regularly to reflect information about stays or appeal results that change the status of public pedestrian access at Seabreeze Drive.
A written Consent Order, signed by all parties, confirmed the Town’s long held position that this dispute is between the two private parties. By signing the order, the Town also agreed to abide by the Court’s ultimate decision in the matter.
