NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR LOCAL ADOPTION OF A CAMA LAND USE PLAN

Notice of Public Hearing for local adoption of a CAMA Land Use Plan Notice is hereby given that the Duck Town Council will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 to review the Town of Duck Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) Land Use Plan. The meeting will be held in the Keller Meeting Hall at 1200 Duck Road. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.

Following the public hearing, the Duck Town Council will consider adoption of the CAMA Land Use Plan. Once adopted, the Land Use Plan will be submitted to the Director of the North Carolina Division of Coastal Management for certification. Written objections, comments, or statements of support can be submitted to the Division of Coastal Management’s District Planner no more than thirty (30) calendar days after local adoption of the plan. Copies of the CAMA Land Use Plan are available for review by the public in Duck Town Hall at 1200 Duck Road during normal office hours and are also available on the Town’s website, www.townofduck.com or at the Planning Department Office in the Administrative Building at the Dare County Courthouse Complex during normal office hours.
