🚨 ATTENTION! PLEASE READ!🚨

Saturday, September 23, 2023

🌊Dare County is under a TROPICAL STORM WARNING. Expect to see high winds, high rainfall, and hazardous ocean conditions into the weekend, with the potential of soundside flooding due to the wind speed dropping. We will share updates as they are received, and we encourage you to keep an eye on the changing forecast. Check out the NC Flood Inundation Mapping and Alert Network (FIMAN) at https://fiman.nc.gov/ to view real-time flood information/ gauges.

🚩 RED NO SWIMMING FLAGS are posted at all Duck beaches today due to the HIGH rip current risk. Ocean swimming is not allowed at this time. STAY OUT OF THE WATER.

💨 Secure loose outdoor items! High winds can make items airborne and cause property damage.
