The Town of Duck is seeking a new member on the Duck Planning Board to fulfill an unexpired term that ends May 1, 2016, after which the member may apply for reappointment to a full 3-year term.
The Planning Board is a five-member board that advises the Town Council on many aspects of the community’s character and development standards including planning, zoning, land subdivision, development review, and other related issues. The Planning Board generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Meeting Hall located at 1200 Duck Road. Other meetings may be called as necessary to address certain issues in a timely manner. Applicants for the Planning Board must be real property owners within the Town of Duck, but do not have to reside in Duck.
Applications are requested by August 31, 2015 for consideration by the Duck Town Council.
