Town Council to conduct three (3) public hearings at its April 1, 2020 meeting at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., the Town Council of the Town of Duck will conduct public hearings and consider the following applications:

SE-20-001        Application by property owner Speight, LLC for two special exceptions relating to fill and grading activities at the unaddressed property north of 1336 Duck Road, PIN 995015545000, including the following conditional uses:

  1. To allow the use of a bulkhead to contain and stabilize fill per Subsection 156.128(A)(6) of the Duck Town Code; and
  2. To allow fill approximately five feet (5’) feet in depth behind the proposed bulkhead, exceeding the maximum of three feet (3’) of fill permitted in Subsection 156.128(A)(12)(a) of the Duck Town Code.

SE-20-003        Application by property owners Gail L. Healy, Jennifer R. Tolson, and Suzanne E. Proctor for a special exception relating to the grading of a residential lot at 113 Bayberry Drive, PIN 985912866445, including the following conditional uses: to allow fill approximately five feet (5’) feet in depth, exceeding the maximum of three feet (3’) of fill permitted in Subsection 156.128(A)(12)(a) of the Duck Town Code.

ORD-20-01      Ordinance 20-01, an Ordinance Containing Comprehensive Amendments to Chapter 150, Flood Damage Prevention, of the Town Code of the Town of Duck, North Carolina
