Planning Board to review Special Exception Permit Application at its Regular Meeting, February 10, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.

The Town of Duck Planning Board will review the following application at its public meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

SE-21-001        Application by property owner Golden Sand Holdings, LLC for a special exception seeking modification of the minimum parking standards for relief from providing one additional parking space under the Village Commercial Development Option per Subsection 156.065 of the Duck Town Code.  The applicant is proposing to convert the second floor to a one-bedroom apartment above the existing retail shop in Unit 7 of the Soundside Shoppes at 1180 Duck Road, PIN 985916833533.

Following the Planning Board’s recommendation, Duck Town Council is expected to conduct a Public Hearing on March 3, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. to receive comments prior to its consideration of the special exception application.

Any person may appear in person or be represented by an agent to present comments on this application.  Written comments may be submitted to the Planning Board and Town Council at Town of Duck, P.O.
