Planning Board to Consider Special Exception Request on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.

The Town of Duck Planning Board will review the following applications at its public meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

SE-20-005        Application by property owner Sunlight on Coast, LLC by its manager partners, John and Kristen Replogle, for two special exceptions relating to fill and grading activities at 1170 Duck Road, PIN 985916825947:

  1. To allow the use of a retaining wall to contain and stabilize fill as required in Subsection 156.128(A)(6) of the Duck Town Code; and
  2. To allow as much as 4.5 feet of fill behind the retaining wall, exceeding the maximum of three feet (3’) of fill permitted in Subsection 156.128(A)(12)(a) of the Duck Town Code.

Following the Planning Board’s recommendations, Duck Town Council is expected to conduct a Public Hearing on December 2, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. to receive comments prior to its consideration of the special exception application.

Any person may appear in person or be represented by an agent to present comments on this application.  Written comments may be submitted to the Planning Board and Town Council at Town of Duck, P.O.
