Town of Duck Online Permit Submissions
The Town of Duck Department of Community Development would like to invite you to begin submitting permits online through our Citizen Access Portal at www.duckpermits.com.
The online portal will allow you to submit permit applications and view the status of your permits after they have been accepted. Inspection requests would still currently need to be called in; however, results would be available in real-time as they are completed.
In order to begin submitting permits online, you will need to be assigned a username/password combination. You can obtain a username and password by contacting our office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 252.255.1234.
Once you log into your account for the first time, we ask that you click on the link to ‘Update My Information’ and change your password to something that will be easier for you to remember. If we have incorrectly listed any information on your account, you will want to take a moment to submit the most accurate and current information for yourself or your business.
Once you have been assigned an account, we will also send you detailed instructions to assist you with your online permitting experience.
We are excited about this new process and we are hopeful that it will prove to be efficient and time-saving for all involved. Your feedback as we implement this online portal will be very helpful.
