PLANNING BOARD MEETING
February 8 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
The Town of Duck Planning Board will review the following applications at its public meeting on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
SUP-23-001 Application by Allis Holdings, LLC for a special use permit to expand the Waterfront Shops shopping center by relocating an existing kayak and stand-up paddleboard rental/tour business to an existing 100 square foot gazebo over the Currituck Sound in the Village Commercial (V-C) district at 1240 Duck Road, PIN 985911761465. No changes to the existing site improvements are proposed.
SUP-23-002 Application by Sea Bags, LLC for a special use permit to establish a formula business in the Village Commercial (V-C) district at the Scarborough Lane Shoppes, Duck Road, PIN 985916839641. The proposed business, Sea Bags, presently has 45 retail locations nationwide. No changes to the existing site or building exterior are proposed.
Following the Planning Board’s recommendations, the Duck Town Council is expected to conduct Public Hearings at its meeting on March 1, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. to receive comments prior to its consideration of these applications.
