Duck Jazz Festival- Community Concert

The Town of Duck brings jazz to the Duck Town Park annually in early October. This event is non-ticketed and free to the public. Food and drinks are available to purchase from town eateries and chairs are available for rent. Attendees may also bring food, coolers, chairs, blankets and well-behaved dogs.
The live music kicks off on Thursday, October 12 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with The U.S. Army Blues, part of the United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own”. This band is the premier jazz ensemble of the U.S. Army. After informal beginnings in 1970, this 19-piece ensemble became an official element of the Army Band in 1972. The Army Blues strive to fulfill their mission through public concerts, educational outreach, and the preservation of the tradition of America’s unique art form: jazz.
