Corolla Wild Horse Meet and Greet

Come meet Riptide, a rescued, gentled Banker horse and learn more about the wild horses, the rescue farm, and what the Corolla Wild Horse Fund does to keep the horses safe and thriving.
Riptide, a 4-year-old stallion who was rescued as a yearling in the summer of 2020 when he contracted a potentially fatal fungal infection. Riptide spent nearly six weeks in the hospital at NC State while the vets there worked diligently to save his life. He is now fully recovered from the infection and has become a wonderful ambassador for the Banker breed.
The event is free and open to the public.
