An event every day that begins at 9:00am, repeating until January 24, 2019
Mary Ann Remer is originally a calligraphic artist and teacher with extensive training in the lettering arts. Eventually, she began looking for more freedom in her work and started taking classes in various medias. Upon moving to Venezuela with her husband and family in 1986 she expanded her study to oil painting and Spanish. In 1990, she returned to the states and added to her studies watercolor, acrylic, collage, and mixed media.
Remer has won numerous awards locally, including Best in Show, Excellence Awards, and Honorable Mention. She looks forward to continually finding new venues for her artwork in the Outer Banks Art Community.
An opening Reception for this exhibit will be held in the First Floor Conference Room of the Duck Town Hall on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. Come meet the artist and view her work.
