On Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., the Town Council of the Town of Duck will conduct public hearings to consider the following Town Code amendments:
ZTA 13-001 – Non-Conforming Lots of Record
Application by Mr. Henry Blaha to amend the zoning ordinance of the Town of Duck, North Carolina pertaining to non-conforming lots of record – Town Code Section 156.071. The proposed amendment would establish a town-wide minimum lot size of 7,500 square feet for the development of single-family dwellings. The amendment would also eliminate existing standards that allow reduced setbacks and lot coverage for lots below this size.
Ordinance 13-05 – Board of Adjustment Revisions
An ordinance amending Town Code Sections 156.160 – 156.167 related to Board of Adjustment procedures. This ordinance will provide consistency with changes to North Carolina State Law ratified by House Bill 276 – An Act to Clarify and Modernize Statutes Regarding Zoning Boards of Adjustment.
