Voter Registration

You may register to vote in Duck (Dare County) if you are:

1) a citizen of the United States,

2) 18 years of age or older by the date of the next general election, and

3) a legal resident of Duck (Dare County) for 30 days by the date of the next election.

You may either pick up a Mail-In Registration Form at the Town of Duck’s Administrative Office, located at 1240 Duck Road, Suite 106 or Register in Person at the Dare County Board of Elections located at 200 Ananias Dare Street in Manteo.

Re: Mail-In Registration Form. The Town of Duck is NOT responsible for mailing filing, or processing this form. The responsibility is solely the individual(s) requesting the form.

To vote in any election, you must be registered 25 days before the election. The voting location for Duck is the Duck Volunteer Fire Department, located at 1259 Duck Road. Further questions may be directed to: Melva Garrison, Director, Dare County Board of Elections, (252) 473-1101 x.319.
