Duck Town Park Sound Clean-up – Saturday, November 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
Volunteers are needed to assist with clean-up of the sound along the Duck Boardwalk. The event will take place on Saturday, November 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon with a lunch for volunteers following in the Town Meeting Hall. Volunteers will gather at the Town Meeting Hall to get bags and gloves. Kayaks and those who own waders will work in the water and others may be positioned along the boardwalk to work in teams to remove debris. There are numerous ways which you can volunteer and assist the Town of Duck. These include serving on a board, committee, helping with a special event, or assisting with administrative activities. Boards: There are two boards upon which individuals can serve:
Planning Board – Members must be real property owners within the Town and do not have to be Town residents. For information on the Planning Board, click here.
Board of Adjustment – Members must be real property owners within the Town and do not have to be Town residents. For information on the Board of Adjustment, click here.
Advisory Committees: These committees are established by the Town Council as needed and are appointed based upon each committee’s needs. There are no residency or property ownership requirements to serve on these committees.

Event and Office Volunteers: There are numerous opportunities available to assist with Town events and functions. There are no residency or property ownership requirements to volunteer in any of these capacities. There may be training requirements associated with these positions.
