Town of Duck Conducting Pedestrian Road Safety Audit and Holding a Public Input Session on Tuesday, December 8, 2009

The Town of Duck will be conducting a Pedestrian Road Safety Audit (RSA) on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 and Wednesday, December 9, 2009. The purpose of the audit is to identify potential safety issues and transportation system improvements that will enhance pedestrian and bicyclist safety along Duck Trail and within the Duck Village Commercial Area. The public is encouraged to participate in a community input session on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Duck Administrative Office, 1240 Duck Road, Suite 106 (The Waterfront Shops). Your comments and suggestions will be used by the Pedestrian RSA study team (North Carolina Department of Transportation, Town staff, and VHB, Inc.) to develop recommendations that will be incorporated into a future pedestrian transportation plan for the Town.
