TOWN OF DUCK PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FY 2007-2008

Notice is hereby given that the Town Manager's proposed budget for fiscal year July 1, 2008 - June 30, 2009, has been presented to the Town Council for consideration and is now available for public viewing online (in PDF format).    Click here to view.   The proposed Capital Improvements Progam is also available online in PDF format.    Click here to view.

A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection in the Town Manager’s Office, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The Town Council will have a worksession meeting on May 21, 2008 to discuss the proposed budget. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend or submit comments.

Notice will be provided regarding the date of the public hearing for the budget.

Curbside Recycling:  The Town of Duck contracts with Tidewater Fiber for curbside recycling. Weekly collection is scheduled every Monday and details regarding acceptable recycling materials may be viewed by clicking here or you may contact the Town office for a brochure.

Trash Collections for the Town of Duck: Twice-weekly residential trash collections are on Mondays and Fridays, between May 1 and Sep. 30. During the winter season (Oct. 1 through Apr. 30), residential trash collections are once a week, on Mondays. Commercial collections remain Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays year round. Please put trash and recycling out at the curb in approved collection bins the night before the scheduled pickup day to avoid a missed pickup.
