The Planning Board of the Town of Duck will review the following applications on July 11, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.:

CUP-12-03     

(Revised Application) Application by Michael J. Morway, P.E. of Albemarle & Associates Ltd., on behalf of Wee Winks, LLC, property owner, to consider a conditional use permit for a new group development to be located at 1216 Duck Road, PIN 985912757657. This project will include a recombination of 1216 Duck Road with Lot A of Poteskeet Village (1215 Duck Road, PIN 985912757804), Lot 1 of Duck Ridge Village (100 Duck Ridge Village Court, PIN 985912758626), and Lot B of Poteskeet Village (101 Wampum Drive, PIN 985912758804).  These four lots are zoned VC – Village Commercial. This application request will be considered using the standards contained under Town Code Section 156.036 (C)(6) Village Commercial Development Option.  The applicant intends to remove the existing Wee Winks Market building and gas pumps at 1216 Duck Road and the Brindley Real Estate Building at 1215 Duck Road and recombine these properties in order to construct three new retail/office buildings and associated site improvements.

 ZTA – Property Maintenance Offices

Application by Quible and Associates, P.C., on behalf of TFP, LLC, to amend Town Code Sections 156.002 and 156.036 (C) to add Real Estate Property Management/Maintenance Office as a conditional use permitted in the VC – Village Commercial zoning district.

ZTA – Hotel Parking Standards

Application by Quible and Associates, P.C., on behalf of FMC/NV Sanderling SPE, LLC., to amend Town Code Section 156.094 to modify the parking requirements for hotels.

The Town Council of the Town of Duck is expected to conduct a Public Hearing on August 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. to receive comments on these items, following the Planning Board’s recommendation.
