“Plants, Critters, and Bugs” – An Interactive Tale at 10:00 a.m. & Toy Time 9:15 a.m. Presented by the Elizabethan Gardens and sponsored by Kitty Hawk Kites. Tuesday mornings will feature a variety of family-oriented shows. Toy Time begins at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesdays on the Town Green. Kitty Hawk Kites will be providing toys and games for children and families to enjoy before and after the shows. Performances start at 10:00 a.m. at the Duck Amphitheater, with gates set to open at 9:30 a.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“Duck Unplugged” 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. – Connected This jazz group from Elizabeth City, North Carolina is back on the Duck Amphitheater stage after two appearances at the Duck Jazz Festival.  They perform sounds ranging from New Orleans to contemporary jazz melodies.

Family Magic Show 10:00 a.m.Witness incredible illusions, mind-bending magic, comedy, and audience participation the entire family will love – live on stage by OBXtreme Magic. Although this event is free, tickets will be required for entry as seating in the amphitheater is limited. Visit Kellogg’s and The Cottage Shop, 1201 Duck Road, the Monday before the show for tickets.  Tickets are normally gone by noon on the Monday before the show and no tickets will be available at the door.

Children’s Story Time 10:00 a.m.Story time is geared to children between the ages of three and seven and is sponsored by Duck’s two book stores: Duck’s Cottage and Island Book Store.

Summer Music Series 6:00 p.m. – The Crowd –  The Crowd has been named the “Number 1 Wedding Band in North Carolina” by Knot Magazine!  The band performs a variety of pop, rock, R&B, funk, and country selections for concert-goers of all ages.

Please remember to bring a blanket or lawn chair for events being held on the Town Green. Beach umbrellas or tents are NOT permitted within the Town Park. All events will be held outside. In the case of inclement weather or site unavailability, an activity may be cancelled or rescheduled.
