After a full year of discussion, including monthly meetings, two public meetings, and numerous opportunities for public input, the Municipal Property Master Plan Study Committee presented its recommendations to the Town Council on the development of the municipal property. The Committee presented its final report to the Town Council on February 2, 2005. The Committee's recommendations were based upon the results of the surveys related to the property, and included the final recommendations for the uses and amenities of the property as well as the cost estimates and timing associated with its implementation. In its place, the Study Committee recommended that the Town Council appoint a smaller committee that would serve to advise the Town Manager and Town Council on issues related to the implementation of the Municipal Property Master Plan. The Committee will also have the authority to make minor decisions related to the implementation of the plan provided that those decisions are related to the adopted plan and have been approved for funding.
