•The Town of Duck's Independence Day Parade will be held on Friday, July 3 at 9:00 a.m. Please NOTE the date. The parade begins at the crest of the hill on Scarborough Lane, continues down Ocean Way, and then west on Christopher Drive. Remember to arrive early for the best viewing and also remember that NO part of the parade is on Duck Road (SR 12). For additional information, click here.
•Mrs. Ada Scarborough, Duck native, has been named as this year's grand marshall for the Duck Independence Day Parade. For more information, click here.
•Town of Duck offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2009 in observance of the Independence Day Holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday, July 6, 2009.
•The Planning Board for the Town of Duck WILL NOT hold a regular meeting for July 2009.  The meeting was originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 8th.  This meeting is CANCELED.

•New for the 2009 season of events is an Author Discussion Series to be held on Fridays from July 10 through August 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Duck Town Park picnic shelter. For more information, click here.
•The Town's morning exercise classes began on Thursday, April 2, 2009. Classes include Mondays - Yoga; Tuesdays - Tai Chi; and Thursdays - Pilates. The free classes start at 7:30 a.m. and are being held on the Town Green. Remember to bring a yoga/Pilates mat.
