Planning Board to Consider Special Exception Request at Their February 11, 2015 Regular Meeting

The Planning Board of the Town of Duck will review the following special exception permit application on February 11, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. in order to provide a recommendation to the Town of Duck Town Council:  

SE 2015-001    A special exception application, submitted by Ken Green & Associates, LLC, agent for Jeffrey T. Scott, property owner at 111 Bunting Lane, also known as Lot 82, Sanderling Subdivision – Phase 3, in Duck, North Carolina.  Pursuant to the Town of Duck Code of Ordinances, Section 156.054, the special exception is to allow an increase in building height to match the existing building height of 35.3’ where a maximum height of 35’ is permitted  pursuant to Section 156.030 (D)(7).   

Following the Planning Board’s recommendation, the Town Council of the Town of Duck is expected to conduct a Public Hearing on March 4, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. to receive comments on this item.  Please note that the Public Hearing date is tentative and could change depending on the outcome of the Planning Board meeting.
