Town Council Seeking Interested Individuals to Serve on the Board of Adjustment

The Duck Town Council is seeking interested individuals to serve on the Duck Board of Adjustment to fill the unexpired term of former member Tim McKeithan, who has been appointed to the Planning Board. The Board of Adjustment is a Town Council appointed quasi-judicial administrative board comprised of five members and two alternates. This Board may hear and decide special exception and variance requests or appeals from any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by an administrative official as prescribed in the Town of Duck Code of Ordinances. The Board of Adjustment meets on an as needed basis. Faithful attendance at all Board meetings and conscientious performance of the duties required of Board members shall be considered a prerequisite of continuing membership on the Board.
