The Duck Town Council, in its efforts to achieve the community’s goals related to preserving Duck’s unique character and aesthetics, established the Community Improvement Committee on February 2, 2005. The Community Improvement Committee administers two main programs: Community Appearance Awards Program — This program awards Town businesses, subdivisions, and homeowners with seasonal and annual community appearance awards. It is designed to recognize those who are helping to beautify and preserve the Town’s unique character. For additional information, click here. Village Improvement Program — This program is designed to offer financial assistance to qualified property owners or tenants seeking to improve commercial properties in the Village Commercial District and to neighborhood associations seeking to enhance community entrances and facilities. For additional information, click here. FOR THIS FISCAL YEAR, JULY 1, 2011 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2012, THE VILLAGE IMPROVEMENT GRANT PROGRAM HAS BEEN SUSPENDED. IT WILL BE POSTED HERE IF THE PROGRAM REOPENS.

Kirk Renaud Thanks for the info. Yes, I do appreciate the need to go slow through the town, especially during the season. Are those sign locations the same in season and off season (when I got the ticket)?
