Public Notice from the Corps of Engineers, January 15, 2015

The Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, received an application from the Town of Duck seeking Department of the Army authorization to dredge 1.061 million cubic yards of beach-quality sediments from two offshore borrow sources, and deposit the material along approximately 1.7 mile-section of oceanfront shoreline, in the Town of Duck, Dare County, North Carolina. Written comments pertinent to the proposed work were accepted by The Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District until 5:00 p.m., Monday, February 16, 2015.

January, 2015: Notification and information regarding proposed Municipal Service Districts (MSD’s) Public Hearing scheduled for 7:00 p.m. March 4, 2015 mailed to all property owners within the proposed MSDs.
