RE:       Ordinance 08-02 - Amendment to Residential Driveway and Parking Standards Pertaining to Circular/Multiple Curb Cut Driveways

 

Dear Mayor Morrison and Members of Council:

 

On March 12, 2008, the Planning Board voted 4-0 to recommend that the Town Council adopt the attached draft ordinance containing a zoning text amendment to modify dimensional requirements for residential drive aisles.  The intent of this ordinance amendment is to establish reasonable standards to allow for circular/multiple curb cut driveways.  The proposed text amendment is, as stated in the ordinance, consistent with the Town’s CAMA Core Land Use Plan.
