RE:       CUP 08-001 Conditional Use Permit Amendment for Aqua-S Restaurant and Day Spa

 

Dear Mayor Morrison and Members of Council:

 

The Town of Duck Planning Board has completed its review of CUP-08-001, a request by Lynette Sumner of Wine Ducks, LLC to approve a conditional use permit amendment to CUP 07-005 which was originally approved by the Town Council on November 7, 2007.  Ms. Sumner is requesting approval of modifications to building architecture and lighting as well as site signage. 

 

On February 27, 2008, the Planning Board recommended unanimously that the Town Council approve the request of Ms. Sumner with findings and conditions per the draft findings and conditions statement attached hereto.  As stated in the findings, the requested Conditional Use Permit Amendment is consistent with the Town’s CAMA Core Land Use Plan.
